Kyowa Sangyo produced a small moped in 1953, and according to Yaplog, only 200 units were built. The model was called The Comet ( コメット号 ), and I liked the sales pitch of "バ イ ク 界 の 最 高 を 行 く" in the top left corner of the advertisement, which roughly translates as "Go the highest in the motorcycle world". It used a 4-stroke, single cylinder SV 90cc engine, developing a claimed 3.2 HP and came with a 2 speed transmission.
