I have not yet located country specific detailsfor the J, K or L models.
Metal spark plug caps were used on the 'M', 'A' and 'B'.
For the 'M' and 'A' models, the turn signals are similar to the general export model, except there is no reflector and no hole drilled to accept a side reflector(country specific part number 35601-34660 for the front, and 35603-33660 for the rear).
For the 'B' model specifically, the later style turn signals from the EU specification GT750 were used on the front (35601-34610), and for the rear, the rear turn signals from the EU specification GT380 were used (35603-18640).
The 'dog bone' style rear tail lamp was carried forward from the 'A' series for the 'B', however although the lens was the same as used for the E1 specification, the rear tail light assembly itself is a different part number series due to being fitted with side relectors.
A front brake light switch was fitted to the 'M', 'A' and 'B' models.
The headlamps included the city driving bulb mounted in the side of the main reflector and the left handlebar had the same spring loaded 'pass' switch (57700-31610) as used on the GT750 and seen in the photo to the right which was supplied by Mick Taylor. This switch was fitted to 'M', 'A' and 'B' models.
The rear fender was the European specification being longer with a flared end for the 'M' (63113-31600) and 'A' (63113-31601) and then to 63113-31700 for the 'B'.
For the 'B' a large rear mud flap was added (63331-31600), also used on the GT750.
The Swiss model 'A' and 'B' GT550 was one of two variants to include a self retracting prop stand. The E22 'A' model sold in Germany was the other. To the right is a photo sent to me by Mick Taylor looking up at the underside of the prop stand mounting plate of an E18 GT750 'B' which was similarly equipped, with the left side frame rail to the bottom of the photo. In this you can see the special spring (42421-31000) and special bolt (09119-10014) used.
Below are copies from the Swiss E18 specific parts list for the M through B models:
