  • The 1975 model year frame number was the same as in 1974 (41100-31200-019)
    • The right side drivers foot peg continued with the two bolt mount (43511-31200). The passenger foot peg mount was located between the rear exhaust hanger and the service bolt attachment (which was blocked with a plastic cap 09250-09001 on all K, L, M and A models)
  • 1975 continued the use full rubber brake hoses, but all fittings were now banjo bolts with no locator pins on the callipers
  • The small "Suzuki" labels on the brake callipers initially were aluminium black plates, with raised letters which were polished metal with a raised polished surround
  • The four calliper bolts holding the two halves of the callipers together had knurled heads, and the four calliper mounting bolts were chrome
  • The front axle bolt was now 235 mm in length.
  • As in 1974, the master cylinder used a clear plastic fluids reservoir. For the E1 General Export version, the recess for the front brake light indicator switch was blanked off using part number 57481-33010. Refer to the Country Specific section in the Appendices for additional information.
  • The right side handlebar switch gear was basically the same as used in 1974, but the left side switch gear turn signal switch head was changed and now fused to a switch arm that extended into the switch housing. Rather than being a rounded shape, it was now rectangular. The markings on the switch gear were updated again - the arrows were gone, and an 'L' and an 'R' were added. See the Country Specific Versions for additional information.
  • The rear shocks changed to using a short upper chromed shroud
  • The rear wheel is pretty much unchanged through the course of the GT750 production, with the final drive gear, now having 43 teeth as standard in 1975. The brake wear indicator was cast into the rear brake plate.

  • The horn was the same as used in 1974, being chromed and the "target" style
  • The headlamp surround was round
  • The gauges now used metal housings, and changed to having a "blue" face rather than black
    • It appears some very early blue faced gauges had crowned glass lenses, but generally they were flat.
  • The under plates were the same as used in 1973
  • The pilot lamp case was the same as was used in 1974
  • The head stock number plate in North America at least was a foil label glued to the head stock
  • The ignition key used a 3 digit code, and was double sided - this same key/ignition switch style was used through to the end of production in 1977
  • The front forks dispensed with the chrome caps in the fork seal area, as used in 1974, and instead used a more modern rubber dust seal above the oil seal. The fork oil drain is at the rear of the lower fork leg. The fork springs were now retained by a non-threaded plug which was held in place by an internal circlip, and covered with a plastic cap rather than using the chromed hex-headed threaded plug used on all previous models. The triple tree part numbers were unchanged, but the inner fork tubes and lower outer fork tubes were quite different. The 1975 fork design carried through till the end of production
  • The frame side covers were the same as used in 1974 - the side cover badge were just a "GT750" with orange glitter paint filling the "G" and "T", and the 750 being raised chrome faced
  • The air box (13700-31211) and air box chrome side covers changed to a new style, resembling the 1974 covers, although the air filter element was the same as was used through to the end of the 1977 production
  • The injector oil tank was the same as used in 1974
  • The fuel tank was similar in shape to the 1973 model, using a painted plastic radiator fill tank flap but it was now matt black and did not match the colour of the fuel tank. The fuel cap used a large diameter key release
  • Referring to the photo to the right, the front fuel cap hinge mount was "open" when compared to the 1973 tank - this had changed by the 1975 model year, possibly early in the 1974 production run..
  • The fuel cap latch had the large diameter key latch as seen in the upper half of the photo to the right
