Big Blue - End Game
Done ! Well, almost. I still have a few small things to sort out, but the bike has turned out not too badly. The test will be when I actually get it on the road and that won't happen for a few weeks at least. The experience of having the exhaust rebuilt and rechromed (which I will detail elsewhere on this site) has been a mixed one. I describe them as being better than I had expected and yet not quite as good as I had hoped. Ross did amazing work repairing the pipes themselves, but the final finishing has perhaps let them down a bit. None the less, they are now at least for all intents and purposes 'brand new' and so will last quite a few years if looked after.
